In 2015 the new ISO 9001 standard was published, introducing changes that can add real value to businesses. With the introduction of the risk and change management and using a strategic approach to continual improvement, through monitoring and analysing KPI’s to ensure objective being met. The emphasis on top management involvement, encourages businesses to own their system, and make is work as efficiently and effectively as possible, getting the most out of it.
Videx Security’s transition was a very simple process, having worked previously with them to achieve ISO 9001:2008 using a process approach to design a system that reflects what the business does, meant that their management system was still compliant to the new ISO 9001:2015 standard and only required a few updates.
Helen Short, the Absolute Quality consultant involved with this project, worked with the Videx team to facilitate the implementation of a new Management System Manual, a risk management register to allow the company to assess, control and manage all risks and opportunities, both internally and externally to the business. As well as small updates to procedures to reflect the new and improved processes.
“Videx Security had already achieved ISO 9001:2008 and were keen to improve our procedures in order to move to the new 9001:2015 standard. Helen was instrumental in helping us achieve this standard by implementing a Risk Management Register and updating the whole Management System Manual. We would have no hesitation in recommending Absolute Quality as with her guidance and advice the process was implemented quickly and efficiently.” Office Manager, Andrea Thomas
