So you have a successful business, you are doing the right things, but you lack the structure and processes that a management system can provide – you are a bit like a Rubik’s Cube, you have all the right pieces but not always in the right place!
We take a common sense approach to help our clients to build a management system tailored to their business. This principle has shaped our client journey to help them get the best results from our support.
1. GETTING TO KNOW YOUR BUSINESS
Our starting point is to understand your business and the influences upon it. We’ll ask you about your ambitions, challenges and frustrations, so we can work with you to create a management system that provides solutions to your problems and has a positive impact.
2. PUTTING IT INTO A PLAN
The hardest part is knowing where to start and finding the time to do it. We develop an action plan with you, of the challenges that need to be addressed. This is a critical stage that enables us to develop an effective strategy with you and identify key people that will be essential in the implementation of your management system.
3. BUILDING THE SYSTEM
We build and tailor your management system around your business. We help you to integrate monitoring tools, that allow you to develop a dashboard of information which can analyse key areas of the business and identify where improvements can be made. This Plan-Do-Check-Act approach is something Absolute Quality have used for year and have proven it is integral in promoting continual improvement and driving your business forward.
4. WORKING WITH YOU
We may be experts in building management systems, but we are not experts in your business! This is why we take a collaborative approach to make sure the ownership of your system lies with you. Your input is critical throughout the whole process, so by utilising your own resources such as in-house champions, we are able to coach your staff to run and manage the system and make sure that the knowledge is not held by one individual.

Integrated Management Systems
An Integrated Management System combines two or more management system standards, rather than having separate management systems depending on whether you are focusing on quality, health & safety or environmental.
Absolute Quality have spent over 15 years refining their approach to Integrated Management Systems, to make sure it does the hard work for you. We build Management Systems that firstly support and underpin the needs of your business, but also complies with the standards you require.

Absolute Quality are committed to developing and supporting management systems that work for your business. Our expertise includes the following management systems. Click on a system for further information:
ISO 9001 – Quality Management Systems
ISO 9001 is an internationally recognised standard for Quality Management Systems (QMS), with over one million companies in 170 countries certified to the standard. No matter your business size or sector, ISO 9001 is a proven business improvement tool, following best practice principles that contribute to ensuring consistent, good quality products and services that strengthen customer satisfaction, including; top management involvement, a risk based approach and continual improvement of the business.
As part of a periodic review, ISO 9001: 2008 was modified and the new ISO 9001: 2015 standard was launched. There is a 3 year transition period and Absolute Quality are working with clients to smoothly transition to the new version.
ISO 14001 – Environmental Management Systems
ISO 14001 sets out the criteria for an Environmental Management System that is used world-wide. ISO 14001 is designed to be cost effective and flexible in promoting best practice in environmental management. It provides a system to meet legal compliance, reduce waste and improve efficiency.
In response to a periodic review, ISO 14001 was revised to accommodate changing trends and the development of best practice. Absolute Quality’s tailored and cost effective services ensure a smooth transition towards this new issue.
BS OHAS 18001 – OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY ASSESSMENT SERIES
BS OHAS 18001 is an internationally applied, British Standard for occupational health and safety management systems. The standard promotes best practice by establishing the policies, procedures and controls needed to achieve good working conditions and workplace health and safety.
This standard is currently being used to develop ISO 45001, the new international standard for occupational health & safety management systems, and is being developed using the same Annex SL framework as the new 2015 versions of ISO 9001 and 14001, making it easier to integrate multiple standards into one business management system.
The scope of Achilles varies dependent on your business, including it’s size and sector. The business is assigned a category and the clauses that must be complied with are dependent on which category the Company falls into. However, all categories are audited and assessed on areas such as, Quality, Environment, Health, Sustainability & CSR, Safety and Carbon Management.
SSIP Accredited Certification
There are many SSIP accredited certifications, including SafeContractor, CHAS & Constructionline, to name but a few. SSIP assessments are all judged on core criteria approved by HSE. These core criteria help assist construction businesses to comply with basic health and safety law. Successful assessment by a member of the SSIP can show your clients and others that you have basic health and safety capabilities and can be a very effective “licence to do business” in your sector.
Food manufacturers and producers who achieve certification against a recognised, respected Food Standard, such as BRC, demonstrate a commitment to producing high quality safe food. Absolute Quality can help your organisation gain certification against the BRC Global standards for Food Safety, Storage & Distribution, Consumer Products and Agents & Brokers.
The National Association of Catering Butchers scheme allows catering butchers to prove that the standards of food safety, hygiene and quality meet nationally agreed levels of best practice, and gives an assurance to the consumer that products they sell are safe and legal.
SALSA and Safe & Legal
SALSA and Safe & Legal standards are designed for small food manufacturers to demonstrate they are meeting their legal requirements and consider good manufacturing processes that produce food that is consistently safe.
