Helen Short originally trained as a medical microbiologist before moving into industry; initially in the brewery sector. Here she cut her teeth on management systems with BS5750. This experience quickly taught her that successful management systems are not about paper manuals but how they manage positive culture change.
Helen then spent 8 years in quality and technical management roles within Nestle before launching Absolute Quality. Helen’s vision, from its inception, was that Absolute Quality would give high levels of technical support to small businesses in affordable bite size pieces; achieving the sort of level of support and service that many larger companies are able to take for granted.
Absolute Quality is founded on her unique approach, which sees the facilitation of simple, logical, easy to use company management systems that strengthen businesses and ‘by the way’ will also meet the requirements of quality, environmental and health & Safety certification.
Absolute Quality has been established since 2001 and she has worked with a number of different sectors including manufacturing, engineering, waste and recycling, design, security and distribution.
She drives your team with purpose and enthusiasm (and to distraction at times!) to be the best they can be and thrives on seeing clients improve their business.
